Thrones Open Many Doors mentions "control bonuses". This is a facet of our new trade and manufacturing system. Basically, the larger a share of a planet you (or your group) own/control, the more goods you can get from facilities on that world. So what the talent does is it increases your production by giving you extra "control". The numbers may need to be adjusted on this as we go.

So, to clarify, Inside Information doesn't let you ask questions relating to what is happening at the current event unless you upgrade it?

I assume that also carries with it the six-hour minimum delay, yes?

That would be correct. Such restrictions are only lifted if the upgrade says they are.

Not really a direct point on the Talents but are the Trade based skills going to be allowed to be used in uptime or will they remain just a downtime based concern?

Otherwise I have no issue with the Talents as presented.

We certainly want trade skills to have up time uses but we've struggled to come up with ways to make that work. Currently we're looking at altering the way we write NPC briefs so that NPCs respond to trade skills in a better fashion but if you have any suggestions on how to make Trade skills useful in up time please do let us know.

Nothing there looks hugely different from my end. The only thing I want to ask about is Supply Cache. While the skill isn't different, the word was that the items that it works on were going to be changed?

We are working on some new lists for Supply Cache. These will mostly affect events where there are limited opportunities for supply, but will also provide a reference for those occasions when you want to know just how much ammo you can get with 100 points.

I think having NPCs who are aware of the effect of the skills and have the relevant information for things like Evaluate results in their briefs would go a long way to making the skill feel useful yes and make it just as beneficial to do trade with NPCs in uptime as it is in downtime. I think Commerce needs some work on it to make it have more than starting cash and a downtime action as its only uses, but then it has mostly been hamstrung by the lack of market data available as I'm sure it's supposed to help with making sense of that too.

I was mostly referring to the rumoured nerfing of +Skill items (Which currently make up 100% of both my uses of Supply Cache and indeed my (non-conversational) uptime usefulness)
